The Proud Children Christine, Veronica, Jane & William known these days as Chris, Ronnie, June & Bill

(Memories from June Delargy, Billy & Alice's Daughter) Billy and Alice lived for their children I can't ever remember them leaving us with baby sitters, they took us everywhere. They spent all their money on us for dancing lessons, singing lessons and even Chris was sent to elocution. When Bill was a baby Ma used to lift him up and say "maaaaaaww son". and from every nook in the house you could hear all of us chorousing after her "maaaaaaww son" she just tutted and said that we had no manner's ha! ha! funny the things you remember eh?

Billy&Alice dedicated most of their lives to their children. They both worked hard, Billy in his shop and Alice as a mother.Though it was not always appreciated they done a brilliant job, we wanted for nothing. They attained a standard of living that most people in the area we lived could only dream of. No one I know including myself give so much of themselves to their children. They are truely Saints.

 My Beautiful Mammy, Alice
This Photograph was taken in 1943 Ma did not like this photo

Mammy & Daddy's first date, she thought he was rich as he took her on a train to Portrush and then on that tram to the Giants Causeway.

Our brother Bill! - RIP to Mother & Father / Christine Sherry Magill (Mother/Father) This is a tribute to my Mother and Father (affectionelly known as Ma & Da. This is also from my sisters Veronica and June.
I want to mention that my baby brother Bill has done a good job in remembering my Ma's 30th anniversary. Not forgetting my Da.
In our family of three girls we were very close then along came Bill and put our noses out of joint. He was spoiled rotten. My sisters and I got married and that left Bill. He was the apple of their eyes. My parents just loved him.
On finishing this I want to say that myself and two sisters love him to bits!
Love your sis, Chris (& Ronnie & June)
